Our design approach for Caizo mirrors the essence of downtown Cairo, creating a space that resonates with both locals and visitors. We meticulously aligned the brand name and identity with the iconic lion of the Qasr El Nil bridge, a symbol deeply ingrained in Cairo’s cultural heritage.
To evoke the distinctive baroque-style buildings found throughout downtown Cairo, we employed curved illustrations within the interior design. These elements subtly nod to the architectural elegance that defines this historic area. Additionally, the choice of font used throughout the restaurant further enhances this connection, lending an authentic Egyptian feel to the overall aesthetic.
Our selection of materials also played a significant role in shaping Caizo’s unique identity. The use of craft boxes adds a rustic yet modern touch, reflecting the restaurant’s innovative approach to traditional shawarma. Meanwhile, the incorporation of white tiles not only brightens the space but also symbolizes cleanliness and simplicity, which are essential aspects of the dining experience.
